Mr. Jennings attended the College of William and Mary
and the University of Richmond, T.C. Williams School of Law. He was admitted to the Virginia Bar and is licensed to practice in all Virginia state courts. He has been appointed and continues to serve as a Commissioner in Chancery. Before going to law school, Mr. Jennings served as a Virginia State Police Officer.

Deborah O. Jennings has been named by her peers as one of the Legal Elite of Virginia - Family Lawyers, a list published annually by Virginia Business magazine. Melanie Jennings' practice includes representation of victims of domestic violence. She is qualified to serve as a Guardian
Ad Litem for children pursuant to Sec. 16.1-266.1 of the Code of Virginia and for adults pursuant to Sec. 37.1-134.9 of the Code of Virginia. In this role Ms. Jennings vigorously represents the interests of her clients before courts and agencies.

In her criminal defense practice, Ms. Jennings has represented juveniles and adults, including individuals with special needs.  In her domestic relations practice, she has represented petitioners and respondents in protective order proceedings regarding allegations of domestic violence and allegations of child neglect and abuse.
Ms. Jennings has lectured for Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) training. She has also participated in a foster parent training panel  for Chesterfield County Social Services Department.
